PFC John G. McLaughlin was born in 1924 in Queens County, New York the only child of John J. and Mae McLaughlin. John was drafted in February 1943. After his training he was sent to the European theater and on 8 Jul 1944 was transferred from the replacement depot to K Company 116th Infantry. PFC McLaughlin was killed in action on 13 Jul 1944.
We believe that PFC McLaughlin was repatriated and re-interred in the New York City area.
