PVT Joseph Robert Froble was born 1 Jul 1925 in Youngstown, Ohio son of Anna (Wrable) Froble. He had one brother, George.
Joseph entered the service in October 1943. On 19 Jun 1944 he found himself transferred from the replacement depot to F Company 116th Infantry. PVT Froble was killed in action on 12 Jul 1944.
PVT Froble is buried in Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown, Ohio. His brother also served during the war.
