PFC Edward J. Green

PFC Edward J. Green was born in 1911 in Bloomfield, New Jersey to John H. and Alice M. Green. His father died in 1929 and Edward was apprenticed to a hosiery maker.

Edward was drafted in May 1942.  He was sent to England and assigned to A Company 116th Infantry.  PFC Green was killed in action on 1 Jul 1944.

PFC Green is buried in the Normandy American Cemetery.
