PVT Edward Hicks Gesner

PVT Edward Hicks Gesner, b. 23 Mar 1925 - d. 1 Jul 1944. Son of Percy William and Lucy D Gesner of Fall River, Massachusetts. Edward was drafted in August 1943 and ultimately assigned to C Company 116th Infantry on 22 Jun 1944. He is buried in the Normandy American Cemetery. This photo comes from his high school album.
