PVT Joseph Quattrosische

PVT Joseph Quattrosische was born about 1896 in Sorone, Italy. He had a sister, Francesca, who was still living in Italy in 1918.

Joseph was drafted on 2 May 1918. He was sent to France aboard the SS Lapland on 14 Sep 1918. It is likely that he was already ill from the voyage when he was assigned to H Company 116th Infantry and was soon evacuated, eventually to a hospital in Liverpool, England where he died of pneumonia on 6 Oct 1918.

PVT Quattrosische was repatriated in 1920 and re-interred in Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia.

NOTE: Joseph's name seems to have been misspelled often.
