PFC Leo Patrick Cosimini

PFC Leo Patrick Cosimini was born 17 Nov 1922 in Pawtucket, Rhode Island to Ubaldo and Daria (Riciardi) Cosimini. His father worked as a butcher and later as a weaver in a textile plant. 

When drafted in December 1942, Leo was apparently working as a shipping clerk.  After training he was sent to England and assigned to M Company 116th Infantry and was with the unit on D-Day.  PFC Cosimini was killed in action on 17 Jun 1944.

PFC Cosimini is buried in Mount Saint Mary's Cemetery in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.
