PFC David Cosmo Borrelli

PFC David Cosmo Borrelli was born 28 May 1923 in Needham, Massachusetts to Antonio Joseph and Philomena Maria (Cirignano). His father worked for himself for a time and then for others.  Working together the family managed to have an income of $2380 in 1939.

David was working in a gas station when he was drafted in August 1943.  Sent overseas he was assigned from the replacement depot to A Company 116th Infantry on 4 Jul 1944.  He died on 11 Jul 1944. 

PFC Borrelli is buried in the Normandy American Cemetery. 

Brothers Samuel and Patsy also served during the war and both survived.
