PFC Donavon Nemo Belford

PFC Donavon Nemo "Jigs" Belford, b. 27 Sep 1924 - d. 12 Jul 1944. Son of Nemo Cloyd and Flora (Wilke) Belford, "Jigs" was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The youngest of his parents' five children he was the only one to die in service. PFC Belford was assigned to I Company 116th Infantry and is buried in Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
