In 1943 he played on the 116th's Yankee baseball team which won the European Theater of Operations (ETO) championship. Assigned to F Company 116th Infantry, he was killed in action 6 Jun 1944.
PFC Alberigo is buried in Long Island National Cemetery.

PFC Louis Joseph Alberigo
