PVT Earl Howe

PVT Earl Howe was born 25 Mar 1922 in Marksville, Louisiana to John W. and Ira Mae (Rogers) Howe.  He married Delta Dupuy about 1942 and they had a daughter. 

Earl was drafted in November 1942.  After training he was sent to England and assigned to F Company 116th Infantry.  He underwent further training with that unit as it prepared for the amphibious assault on the French beach code-named "Omaha" on the coast of Normandy. PVT Howe was killed in action in that effort on 6 Jun 1944.

PVT Howe was repatriated and is buried in Saint Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Marksville, Louisiana.
