MSG John Wesley Dean

MSG John Wesley Dean was born 8 Mar 1920 in Bedford County, Virginia to James Frank and Pinkie Estelle (Creasey) Dean.  The family farmed in Bedford County. 

Assigned to F Company 116th Infantry at the time of the invasion of France, MSG Dean was killed in action on 17 Jul 1944. 

MSG Dean was returned to the U.S. and buried in Greenwood Cemetery in Bedford, Virginia.

Two of his brothers also served.
