CPL Henry C. Thompson

CPL Henry C. Thompson was assigned to B Company 116th Infantry.  He was with the unit when it embarked for France aboard the Finland on 15 Jun 1918. His parents might already have been deceased as his aunt, Mrs. Lucy Carter, is given as his next of kin on the ship manifest. He was with the unit when he was killed in action on 11 Oct 1918.

CPL Thompson is buried in the Meuse-Argonne American Cemetery.
