PFC Broadus Martin

PFC Broadus Martin was born 4 Oct 1895 in Albemarle County, Virginia the 5th of 8 children born to John D.  and Myra J. (Mawyer) Martin. The family farmed.

When Broadus entered the Army he was assigned to H Company 116th Infantry.  He traveled to France with the unit aboard the USS Finland in June 1918.  PFC Martin was wounded and died of his wound(s) on 16 Oct 1918.

PFC Broadus was repatriated and re-interred in Adial Cemetery in Faber, Virginia.
