PFC Clove Elon Rice

PFC Clove Elon Rice was born 10 Mar 1893 in Schoolcraft, Michigan the younger of the 2 sons of Charles Henry and Mary Ellen (Stickney) Rice.  The family farmed which occupation Clove followed when he came of age.

After entering the service, Clove found himself sent to France and assigned to L Company 116th Infantry. PFC Rice was killed in action on 15 Oct 1918.

PFC Rice was repatriated and re-interred in Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia.
