PVT Robert C. Higgins was assigned to C Company 116th Infantry from the replacement depot on 22 Jun 1944. On 5 Aug 1944 Robert was a Non-Battle Casualty and evacuated to hospital. He did not return to the unit from the hospital until 23 Sep 1944. PVT Higgins was killed in action on 13 Oct 1944.
This is all we know about PVT Higgins. We are certain that he was repatriated and is buried somewhere in the U.S.
