PFC Marvin L. Boutchyard

PFC Marvin L. Boutchyard was born in 1917 in Stafford, Virginia to George Francis and Bernice Mildred (Berry) Boutchyard.  The family farmed.  In 1940, Marvin was working as a plumber's helper.

Marvin was drafted in April 1941.  He was assigned to C Company 116th Infantry and prepped for and participated in the amphibious assault on "fortress Europe" on 6 Jun 1944.  He was killed in action on 13 Jun 1944.

PFC Boutchyard is buried in the Normandy American Cemetery.
