PVT Albert Falzini was born 4 Jan 1913 in Cleveland, Ohio to Romolo and Romilde Dusalina Antonina (Pampinine) Falzini. Both of Albert's parents were Italian immigrants. His father was a steel worker as were 2 of his older brothers who had been born in Italy. A third brother farmed. In 1940 Albert was driving a truck.
Albert was drafted in November 1942. After training he was sent overseas. He was assigned to M Company 116th Infantry in the assault on Omaha Beach on the shores of "fortress Europe". PVT Falzini participated in the D-Day landing and was killed in action on 7 Jun 1944.
PVT Albert Falzini is buried in the Normandy American Cemetery.
