PFC Wiliam Madison Frampton

PFC William Madison Frampton was born 6 Aug 1914 in Seguin, Texas to Joseph M and Susie M (Kirkland) Frampton.  In 1940 he and his wife, Polly Florence Frampton, were living in Easton, Maryland.  He was working as a house painter and she as a nurse.  On 27 Mar 1943, in Washington, D.C., their daughter was born. 

William was drafted 2 months later, in May 1943.  After training, William was sent overseas and on 24 Oct 1944 he was transferred from the replacement depot to E Company 116th Infantry.  He was killed in action on 18 Nov 1944.

PFC Frampton is buried in Arlington National Cemetery. 

Polly never re-married. Their daughter is still living.
