2LT Alton Bayne Ashley

2LT Alton Bayne Ashley, b. 11 Mar 1915 - d. 6 Jun 1944, son of R. B. and Anice Jane (Rowbotham) Ashley of Fort Morgan, Colorado. Alton enlisted 16 Sep 1940 and was serving with D Company 116th Infantry when killed. In addition to his parents he was survived by his wife, Rose (Weimer) Ashley who never remarried. 2LT Ashley is buried in Riverside Cemetery, Fort Morgan, Colorado with his wife.
