PVT John Otis Harris

PVT John Otis Harris, b. 24 Aug 1919 - d. 6 Jun 1944. Son of Eugene Manley and Gertrude Eugenia (Mallory) Harris of Ashland, Virginia. John married Elenora Hall, also of Hanover County, 11 Aug 1942 and their son was born in 1943. He entered service in May 1941 and was assigned to A Company 116th Infantry. He is buried in Woodland Cemetery in Ashland, Virginia.
