PVT Warren M. Maul

PVT Warren M. Maul was born in 1921 in Linden, New Jersey. He was the 7th of 10 children born to Henry and Grace (Schuh) Maul. His father was a machinist and he died in 1929 when Warren was just 8 years old. His older brothers would support the family while Warren was growing up.

Warren was drafted in November 1942. After training he was sent to England and assigned to A Company 116th Infantry.  The unit was there preparing for the amphibious assault that would be part of the invasion of occupied Europe. PVT Maul was killed in action on 6 Jun 1944.

PVT Maul is buried in the Normandy American Cemetery.
