PFC Angel Gallegos Moreno was born in Towne, Texas on 2 Aug 1925. He was the 3rd of the 4 children born to Juan Antonio and Elvira (Gallegos) Moreno. His father worked in a stone quarry and died in 1936. His mother then supported the family as a maid. The family was very poor.
