PVT Walter Ziba Barnes Jr

PVT Walter Ziba Barnes Jr, b. 21 Aug 1925 - d. 3 Sep 1944. Son of Walter Ziba and Elsie (Trump) Barnes of Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania. Walter was serving with I Company 116th Infantry when wounded and he died of those wounds. His brother, PVT Jack Warren Barnes was killed while serving with A Company 134th Infantry. Both are buried with their family in Creveling Cemetery in Almedia, Pennsylvania.
