PFC Michael P. Faulisi

PFC Michael P. Faulisi was born 24 Mar 1923 to Joseph and Giuseppina (Papa) Faulisi of Chicago, Illinois. His mother died in 1934.  In 1940, his father was working for the WPA.

After entering the service Michael was sent overseas and on 13 Jun 1944 he was transferred from the replacement depot to B Company 116th Infantry and then cross-leveled/transferred to A Company 116th Infantry on 15 Jun 1944.  PFC Faulisi was killed in action on 3 Jul 1944.

PFC Faulisi is buried in the Normandy American Cemetery. 

His father was a U.S. veteran of the WWI.  Brother Frank James Faulisi served from 1943 to 1946.
