PVT Pasquale Albert Barile

PVT Pasquale Albert Barile was born 13 Mar 1924 in Middlesex County, Massachusetts with his twin sister to Gaetano and Margaret Barile. The twins had one brother. Gaetano supported his family as a tailor.

Drafted in April 1943, PVT Barile was apparently assigned to and landed with L Company 116th Infantry, PVT Barile was transferred to B Company 116th Infantry on 12 Jun 1944.  He was reported missing in actin on 5 Jul 1944 but was later found to have been killed in action on 2 Jul 1944.

PVT Barile is buried in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford, Masschusetts.
