2LT Henry Feil

2LT Henry Feil, b. 2 Sep 1918 - d. 25 Aug 1944. Son of Harry and Ray (Eisenberg) Feil of New York City. This photo is from the New York University annual. Henry entered service in 1942. He was ultimately assigned to I Company 116th Infantry. 2LT Feil is memorialized on the tablet of the missing in the Brittany American Cemetery but he was officially recorded as being killed in action.
