PVT Edward Frank Lebuda

PVT Edward Frank Lebuda was born 3 Aug 1925 in Reading, Pennsylvania to Charles and Catherine Lebuda.  His father worked for Earle Hardware Company.

Edward entered the Army in October 1943.  Sent to Europe in April 1944 he was transferred from the replacement depot to F Company 116th Infantry on 22 Jun 1944.  PVT Lebuda was killed in action on 15 Jul 1944.

PVT Lebuda was buried in the Normandy American Cemetery.

Edward's brother Theodore served in the U.S. Marine Corps and brother Charles served in the Navy aboard the sub-tender USS Orion.
